  • Turtle Guard Tournaments is coming back with its first event for 2019, Submission Cyborgs!

We are sticking with the submission-ONLY format we used for our last tournament. What does this mean? Simply put, there will be no point system in effect, and matches will be won either by submission, or a tie breaker round.

Once again, we’ll be having Gi and No-Gi divisions! There will be absolute divisions for BOTH gi and no-gi divisions as well. And as usual, we will have awesome medals and awards for all of our champions!

We will be going back to the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds. This facility is perfect for our format, and we’re very excited about the change.

We are also introducing 3 different registration packages:

The Grappler Package: $50 for 2 divisions. Perfect for any new competitor who’s looking for just a few good matches.

The Ninja Package: $65 for 4 divisions. A great deal for a competitor who wants a solid day of competing, and a chance at several medals.

The Monster Package: $80 for 6 divisions. This is for those hardcore competitors with intense cardio, who love to go beast mode on the mat! Every monster package comes with a free TGT patch.

Register early enough, and receive a free shirt!

We will have kids/teens divisions, and adult divisions up to blue belt. Purple belt competitors and higher can register to compete in our advanced divisions.

Mark your calendars, and get ready for an awesome event!
